Adrian and Lisa Dunne have recently released their second original worship album, Devotion, a journey through a number of musical genres, including rock, ballads, and techno. The lyrics and instrumentation reflect the various stages and ongoing challenges of life in an imperfect world. "Time," written for the couple's daughter, is a tribute to the melancholy realization of the swiftness of time's passage-that "just when life is finally perfect, time flies." The poignant piece "If I Were You" reminds the hearer of the pervasive grace that returns again and again despite our inadequacies, while "Last Hello" gives tribute to friends lost in distance but connected in memory. Techno-driven "Thirsty," the remix radio release, is a modern parallel to King David's simile of the deer panting for water. Adrian and Lisa met during a performance tour in England while they were both studying music in college, and they have continued to write and sing together for many years. Adrian serves as the associate pastor and worship leader at Mosaic Christian Church in Rocklin, California. He holds degrees in classical music studies and jazz performance from the London Guildhall School of Music. Lisa, a college professor, speaker, and communication consultant, holds undergraduate degrees in musical theater and secondary education, as well as Master's degrees in communication and organizational development. In 2009, she will complete her Ph.D. in human development. Adrian and Lisa have been married since 1990 and have two wonderful children, Ethan Reiley and Cymone Azariah. Despite their seemingly diverse professions, Adrian & Lisa share a common passion for helping people learn, grow, and become all they were destined to be. Their music will inspire you to live deeper, to think clearer, and to walk more closely with the God of all creation.
