After Three Seconds began as an excuse for four friends to hang out with instruments in the dead of Middle School, and by the time it's members had reached senior year of high school, had evolved into a full-fledged band of six: Julian Crocamo, Jason Gordon, Mike Meehan, Rob Kohler, Jon York and Dave Metcalfe. Composer and frontman Julian Crocamo had been writing music the entire time, caught between a desire to fully realize these songs and the fear that maybe they weren\'t all that good. This ended in 2007, when After Three Seconds made their first performances at high school talent shows and Battles of Bands. Two years, a few Starbucks gigs and tons of anxiety later, ATS emerged with two recordings, one rather rough and one rather polished, the second of which is the newly-released Genius Loci EP. The band is in a constant flutter between hiatus and explosions of activity, a schedule rigidly imposed by the member\'s college careers. The story continues.
