Not only beautiful, but captivating. The voice of this artist take me back to days when Mazzy Star was on the radio and the radio was a better place. I would drive to see this artist perform. - Caldwelldy Nashville, Tennessee It's powerful and interesting. The resonance is compelling. A bit like Tori Amos or Alanis Morrisette. I dig it! - Sally Mae, Front Royal, Virginia Bio: A'louise wrote her first song at the age of 8. She began early on to record her songs, and the songs of her idols, together with her sister. At the age of 11 she wrote a jingle for a jolly-cola competition and won. That became the start of A'louise's career as a songwriter. On the Freinet school A'louise really got the chance to try her skills on the music. Every year the school performed a musical and went to around the country to play concerts. Here A'louise had her debut with her first band. The band played songs they had written together, inspired mainly by Sneakers and Stevie Wonder. At that same period Zapp Zapp was recording their first album in the studio where A'louise grew up and their dynamic expression undoubtedly had a huge impact on A'louise and her music. After travelling the world for a while, A'louise returned to Denmark and started working as a sound engineer in Soundscape Studio. At this time she also formed a vocal duo with her friend and they were signed on Elmer records in 2000. Their first album 'Soundscape sessions' was released in October 2000. In 2002 A'louise started her solo project. Inspired by singer/songwriters like Joni Mitchell, Tori Amos and Aimee Mann Louise's songs developed a rock sound mixed with the pop melodies, and a singer/songwriters storytelling. A mixture that has colored her songs ever since. The songs of A'louise are very sincere, sometimes wrapped in cotton sometimes extremely straight forward, but always full of food for thought. You will meet all kinds of people on the avenues and in the alleys of A'louise, you might even meet yourself. 'Please let me know what you think of the songs, send me an email og drop a review:-) Sincerly A'louise'
