Amish Love Child, a trio based in Eugene, is comprised of singer/songwriter Troy Krusenstjerna, a native of Eugene, Oregon, on guitar and lead vocals, Tony Gilchriest, from Austin,Texas, on bass guitar and backing vocals, and Jeff Davis, from Santa Cruz, California, on drums and backing vocals, Inspired by the music of the British invasion: the Beatles, the Kinks, and the Rolling Stones, and seventies punk: The Ramones, Iggy Pop, and the Clash, along with the new wave sounds of the Talking Heads, and the Cars.
