Without a doubt, Andy Moore's debut release showcases her powerful potential as a singer/songwriter on the folk-rock front. Recorded in Eastern Pennsylvania with the help of Cassandra Buncie and folk-popster Eric Himan, 'shifting' features the pristine vocal mastery for which Andy is now known, as well as her highly stylized acoustic 6-string. 'shifting', as the title suggests, documents the twists and turns of life's bumpy highway and has been consistently compared by many to Ani DiFranco's 'Dilate' as one of the must-have so-called 'break-up albums' of the young modern folk-rock generation. Now in it's second printing, 'shifting' is sure to be long-hailed as a safe fall-back when dealing with those pot-holes of life.
