Anne Hurley is a composer/musician who lives in Ottawa, Canada. She completed her degree in music at Ottawa University (1982). Anne is married and has two teenage children. Anne's first CD Riding the Wind (1998) is a collection of her own reflective piano music. Recently, Anne decided to leave her full-time work and pursue her passion for music. Anne's bold decision led to the idea for this album - In Bethlehem. It is comprised of original compositions (most written with her husband, Kevin Quinn) as well as Anne's interpretation of several traditional Christmas songs. Drummer Boy has been reworked with African drums and the Huron Carol and O Come, O Come Emmanuel are sung in unison. On the album there are also lullabies, beautiful strings and songs to soothe the soul.
