Most listeners who have discovered and come to know the music of Aron Kirk will already know of his remarkable ability to mirror his own feelings and emotions and filter them into the music that he composes. The music on 'Seep' is no exception.Recorded between January and November 2007,the two long compositions contained on the album are as Kirk puts it 'A somewhat futile attempt to tell the story of my whole life, from being born,to the very end'. 'At first 'Seep' started out as a kind of musical experiment for my own creative outlet, but before I knew it,I had subconsciously started to turn this musical experimentation into something far more personal than I had originally intended. Elements of my childhood,my teen years,my current life where all there hiding in the arrangements. So then I thought, why not put the rest of my life in too,Even if that part of it is fictitious. I suppose it's all very tongue-in-cheek really, and you have to take such things with an element of flippancy and dark humour'. 'Seep' consists of two longer pieces of music 'Seep' (Part 1) 'Seep' (Part 2) and moves through a variety of moods, and musical shifts of electronica,classical,up-tempo,avant-garde and so on. Aron Kirk is also currently working on a more 'conventional' album, which will run in a similar vein to that of his 2006 album 'Brick Circus'.
