'Berlin, Patton's fourth solo album, is a quirky, poignant, witty album of unusual songs, named for the city they were conceived in. Although mostly acoustic, the tracks are adorned with occasional horns, strings, and thick creamy backup vocals that bring to mind the harmonies of the Beatles and the Beach Boys. Some songs bring to mind jazz standards, others are far grittier... an album like no other.' Ben Patton is an American songwriter who's diverse tastes and talents span the breadth of pop music, from rock to musical theater. He is also cofounder of Muller and Patton Productions, a pop music production company, with collaborator Jaye Muller. In addition to writing songs for dozens of international artists, Ben has performed his own rock material on five solo albums, five 'Muller and Patton' duo albums, and two live concert DVD's, and penned a comic operetta entitled 'Simply Wonderful'. Ben is 27. He grew up in Vermont, and has since lived in Boston, New York, London, and Berlin. He now lives in Cebu, Philippines.
