From an early age Chris showed an ear for music. Listening to his sister playing the piano he was able to copy and play the melodies by ear. He took formal classical piano lessons as a child although gave it up as Chopin was not "cool" for a 12 year old to be playing. So Chopin was retired and replaced with Pink Floyd and Jean Michel Jarre. He did continue to "tinker" with the ivories and this led eventually to his first original compositions in the mid 1990's. Heavily influenced by such bands as Delerium, Enigma, Massive Attack, Deep Forest and others of the electronic ambient genre, he continued to refine and Polish his creations when in 2006 he distributed a few demo CDs. Feedback was very positive and this motivated him further to take the next step. The result is what you now hear...Blue Nomad.
