'This collection of songs, performed by the Boilemaker Jazz Band, is a musical testiment to creative parenting. There is music in every baby, from the time that they're floating free in the womb, processing mom's blah blah blah conversation and her celery crunching to her shimmy-ing across the floor to her own internal rhythms. What a wonderfully playful window of opportunity to give form to what comes naturally by exposing babies to all kinds of music- GOOD music. Good music is good for you and your youngsters! Check out this band- it is loose, fun and swingin', exactly what a diapered dancer in training would need. The tunes are all the gems of childhood. I wouldn't be surprised to see YOU popping it into the deck over and over again, because, aren't we all just adults waiting for permission to let out our own 'jazz baby' and dance free in front of the band?' -Alisa Clancy Host- Morning Cup of Jazz KCSM Radio, San Francisco.
