MEMORANDUM FOR THE PARTY PEOPLE 4 JULY 2008 FROM: BOOGIE FREE SUBJECT: HONORABLE DISCHARGE 1. I Boogie Free is saying goodbye to all those who hated on me. Too much time and energy has been put in this project and I hope my point gets across to everyone listening. I will always have a place in my heart for HIPHOP/Rap music. But now I feel it's time to let it go. I will still spit and continue to freestyle, but I decided to focus more on my family and military career. 2. Honorable Discharge was recorded during a period in which I was going through legal problems, a divorce, and an ongoing beef in the streets. It's aimed towards everyone involved as well as military members and civilians that may be going through the same issues. Honorable Discharge means to go out with honor and dignity. It's a special way of saying goodbye to all my problems and negative people. This project means a lot to me. It's all about being true to yourself, your family, and your country. It's also about doing what you think is right regardless of what others may think. 3. My name has always been Boogie for as long as I can remember. It was a name given to me by my mother and it has stuck with me ever since. The word "free" is self explanatory. It means I'm not held down by anyone or anything. I added "free" to my name to express the way I feel and to show the new me. 4. This album is explicit in language. It contains violence, sexual content, and drug activity. 5. If you have any questions. Feel free to contact me on BoogieFree@myspace.com. BOOGIE FREE DARKSIDE RESENTA.
