'I grew up when hip hop WAS hip hop, from BDP to LL and everyone in between hip hop has been in my life more than ANYTHING else and till the day my head rests, it will never leave my soul. I grew up in Chicago, where my father schooled me on music. One day he gave me a tape, B.A.D. by LL Cool J, and from the moment I pressed play I knew that this was it. This IS my music. I never stopped after that, I bought tape after tape then CD after CD. I started listening to more Chicago rap, artists like Common, Do or Die, and Twista. I then began writing little raps of my own. I started doing open mics at hip hop spots in the city, and even did some talent shows. Since then I have been getting recognition for my ability to rhyme and tell stories. My goal is to be the face of Chicago Hip Hop and to take Chicago Hip Hop to heights unseen. My name is Bosco; remember it because you'll be hearing it in the future.'
