Bully is a hard rock power trio from the Portland, Oregon area. The band has been playing in and around the NW since 2005. Often compared to bands like Velvet Revolver, early Motley Crue, Rhoads-era Ozzy, and Tool. Bully is Matthew Norton on Bass and Lead Vocals, Jason Moser on Guitar, and Andrew Losli on Drums. Bully began in August of 2001 when drummer Andrew Losli started casual jam sessions with guitarist Jason Moser. Over the next few years they continued to write and play their original music under the name Shade of Grey, occasionally adding (and then subtracting) members to the mix in search of the right chemistry. In November 2004 they auditioned a Harley riding, tattooed vocalist named Matthew Norton, who also happened to play bass. They knew that the chemistry was right before he even got to the chorus of the first song at the audition. The trio decided to officially rename themselves Bully. Since then, Bully has teamed up with Captain Bob Pallotta of RGP Concepts to record their self-titled debut CD. This CD was recorded, mixed and mastered with the help of Captain Bob, and then duplicated and distributed by the band on their own dime. Bully has also garnered airplay on local NW college radio and have made a music video for their single Ichabod. Bully have been described by some fans as old school, yet on the cutting edge of today's music scene. 'a three piece band with a lot of heavy metal sound and very impressed by Jason on the guitar. His leads were outstanding!' -Silver Diamond Productions Never one to take a back seat and wait for things to happen, Bully will be promoting their new CD in the live arena by opening for a number of national acts later in the year while continuing to perform in their own backyard of the Pacific NW. The classic hard rock / metal sound with a modern twist is what the Portland locals know as Bully. By turning each show into a good time that no one wants to miss, Bully is ready to get the party started and bring the house down, and the guys are ready to spread those good times to the masses.
