Touch is comprised of two dark ambient works, each over a half hour long, 'Fog Harvester' and 'Touch', both of which evolve, grow, morph and mutate - like an entire day on a primordial planet condensed into seventy minutes of textural sound - part 'Bug Music' and part audio exploration, think: 'alien hedgehogs learning to mate in molten sulpher'. Maybe this is what a rusty diamond sounds like if you listen out of the corner of your ear. Carbon111 (aka James Maier) is currently washed ashore on Puget Sound in the rain-misted Pacific Northwest where he follows his lifelong obsession into the shadows and sunlit pools of Music accompanied by his patient wife and neurotic cat. The journey is wild and strange and wonderful.
