I taught myself how to play guitar on a borrowed sears electric six string over 10 years my senior. I beat the life out of that little guitar. So instead of a huge party or rhinoplasty, i was given a fender duo sonic for my sweet sixteen. Things have forever changed since that milestone birthday. I played in a bunch of high school bands and eventually began doing solo-acoustic shows all over manhattan. Around this time i was 'discovered' by some important people. Got offered a bigtime deal and turned it down because i was 19 and i had an idealistic view of the world where i thought the state of the music industry would soon change and allow me to be the artist i wanted to be and maintain all my integrity without forcing me into a tube top and a headpiece microphone. But... um.... i was wrong. The days of lillith fair were long gone. Here i was a girl alone with a guitar and a whole lot of songs that didn't fit in the industry cookie-cutter. So i decided to push forth and release my own music. Enter bumblefoot. Together we produced and released this record called honey wagon. Honey wagon had 11 tracks and several of them were a facetious tongue in cheek FU to the industry. It was my first CD and i am very proud of it. Hopefully people can buy the record and listen to the songs and 'get it'. hopefully it can make you laugh or shock you or effect your psyche in a way that won't get you in trouble with the law.
