Blossom a collaboration with "Lurking" - butoh photography exhibition by Caecar Chong February 2008, Guan and Nyoba Kan butoh dancers printed their footsteps on Japan, attended workshops by Ima Tenko and Masami Yurabe. New inspiration came across, recorded ambience from Japan tastefully blended into the music. Images of butoh dancers feature physical movements of rare possibilities. A process of growth turned the seed to mature. Blossom, revealed the unseen beauty. A click on the camera captured moments, music create atmosphere. Listen, and you shall see. Bokeh original music composed for 1st Nyoba Kan Butoh Festival 2008 - highlight performance "She Walks in Beauty like the Night - The Birth" directed by Lee Swee Keong, Performed by Lena Ang and nyoba Kan's butoh dancers bokeaji, bokeh, blur. Bokeh, derives from bokeaji ???, carries the meaning of "blur" in Japanese. Bokeh is out of focus areas in photography. Bokeh reduce distractions, give special effects, as well as create mysterious atmosphere. Butoh dance let the unknown and unexpected take the role of lead to a search of any possibilities. Body movements portrayed the deepest expression inside oneself. Open your mind towards any potential alternatives, Butoh provides sparks in split seconds. The combination of Butoh dance and original music by Guan reflects a bokeh, provides enormous imaginative spaces.
