Chris Hodges is a guitarist/musician that has been playing guitar for 6 years. Chris grew up in Farmington, NM where he was raised in a very musical family with his parents owning a local music store. He is currently going to school on scholarship at Berklee College Of Music in Boston. 'The Latent Time' music is a very different style than Chris has normally played in the past. It was a concept of making a full album of acoustic or acoustic style music. The pieces are layered with many acoustic and clean electric guitars that seem latent at times within the palette of strings, piano and bass. The album is divided into 3 parts with a constant theme starting, connecting and ending the album in these 3 parts. The tracks are all original instrumental pieces that were written and recorded from Fall 2004 to Winter 2005 in Boston. The artwork was created by Braydon Nelson and stays true to the theme and concept of time by using polaroid pictures, clock faces and picture frames. The inside sleeve of the CD artwork is graced with information about Chris' inspiration and influences that created these songs.
