Minister Donald Hatcher had a vision A few years ago. It was a vision of hope, a vision that God would dispatch a few special angelic voices with an ineradicable love and hunger to spread the gospel through their melodic compositions. What began as a concept, resulted in the culmination of outstanding talent, unique songwriting and a blend of styles unlike any other. Sometimes referred to as the 'Quincy Jones of Gospel', Mr. Hatcher has developed a sound that will enlighten all. The collection of songs in their newly released CD entitled 'Surrender' offers the most diverse, multicultural sound. It offers a touch of traditional gospel but then goes on to give a little 'foot pattin' swing, Latin, Jazz, blues and a rich contemporary styling that feeds every fiber of your musical being. They have a very eclectic sound and may be considered the 'Nu Gospel' or what they call 'Spiritual nourishment for the soul'. The strength of the group is it's make up. Donald Hatcher is the founder of the group. He is an accomplished songwriter, an amazing keyboard player as well as lead singer and musical arranger/producer. The other members of the group are musicians Ron Jennings on bass, Andy White on guitar, Robert Mosely on drums. The musicians contribute to the outstanding vocals provided by Bernadine Peterson, Angela Nash, Patricia Jennings, Tawana Brown, Rebecca Carrera, Jo Ann Wilson and Yolande Brown. The group has played in many venues. They were a featured talent for Donnie McClurkin's 2002 Back to Holiness Conference, 2001 CCMA Convention in Nashville Tennessee. They are currently being featured on TalkGospel.com from London, England.
