Product Notes

D.I Is a project born in 2005 from an idea of bassist and producer Ingo Schwartz in co-operation with songwriter David Gionfriddo, guitarist Jean Schwartz and drummer Stefano Baldasseroni. The sound is a mix of many styles, developed from the guys' feelings and experiences. Ingo's studio called Dingolab. Is their playfield and headquarter. An alternative vision of music, charismatic sensual -David Bowie meets Iggy Pop while sayn' to Ian Asbury if he recalls Jim Morrison- vocals, pushing rhythm section crossing from The Chemical Brothers' beats to Jane's addiction's grooves, guitar riffs inspired to Sonic Youth and Queens of the Stone Age give each song it's own world to discover. We all have experienced gigging all over the world with major and minor acts. We could mention all the people we've played with, but why bore you? We think that the CD 'Electric Motion' is the best way to understand what we do. Please listen to our songs and rate them. Any feedback is more than welcome! It's not just Rock, Pop or Funky..... it's the way you feel!
