R&B power-horn bands of the 60's were the inspiration for Diane Kallay's debut CD, 'Paisley Blues.' From soft and sultry to strong and throaty, Diane's vocals could only be backed by an equally versatile and powerful band. After a brief introductory tribute to her blues roots, Diane grabs you by the ears with the CD's first full track, Barbara Lynn's "I'm a Good Woman." Two thirds of an hour and a whole lot of energy later, the album returns to it's roots with an unplugged version of the Delta Blues-inspired title track.
