Eddie Eniel Biography Eddie Eniel has been in the performing arts since childhood. He inherited his father's talent for the drums and began to play at an early age. He was exposed to many different styles of music from his childhood. While his surroundings where filled with Latin Music, he was also exposed to Rock music and it became his early musical style. At the age of 19 he began to study classical music and a year later he entered the Conservatory of Music of Puerto Rico. Later he transferred to Miami where he studied at the University of Miami and Florida International University. He obtained a "Bachelor in Jazz Studies" and a minor in "Classical Percussion" from FIU. As a member of the Florida International University Jazz Band, he had the opportunity to perform with great jazz artists such as Arturo Sandoval and Nestor Torres among others. Living in a culturally diverse City like Miami gave him the opportunity to perform in many different music scenarios: Pop Rock, Hard Rock, Jazz, Latin, Gospel, CCM, Orchestral Music, etc. Eddie recently finished his first album with the participation of world-renowned artists: Alex Acuña, Abraham Laboriel, and Justo Almario. All of the compositions on the album are original songs by him. Eddie is currently scheduling concerts for his debut album in New York, Connecticut, Miami, and Puerto Rico. Besides music, Eddie is also making a career as an actor. As a teenager, he entered a talent agency and appeared on some local programs in Puerto Rico, but at the time decided to pursue a career as a musician. After some conversations with his brother, (who is a professional actor) he decided to give a try again to acting. To his surprise, he began to get calls on a regular basis to do background work in movies and commercials. He has also performed in many plays and will be performing major roles in an upcoming Off Broadway show and a movie. He is currently living the dream of making his career as a musician, actor, composer, and producer.
