Product Notes

David Bull - Composition/Keyboards/Lyrics/Vocals Phaedra J.Kelly - Graphics/Keyboards/Lyrics/Poetry/Vocals MelinDa Ran - Composition/Graphics/Keyboards/Lyrics/Production/Programming/Vocals/Vocoder About the tracks: Track One 'Bullet Train', this lengthy opening piece represents a journey, of course a journey on the Bullet Train through the country of Japan. This piece seems to have moments of two halves, moments of peace and tranquillity with pretty Japanese folk and then moments of the fast relentless pace of modern progression. The fact is the whole piece is fast laced with elegant tranquillity you don't notice it. Track Two 'Let Me Catch my Breath' is as equally fast as 'Bullet Train' but much shorter and this time you can really feel it. This harsh generic electronic punk is inspired by one of the band member's frequent panic attacks. Track Three 'Blue Horizon' is inspired by insomina, it's a cold night clear night and you can't go to sleep, it makes you feel really low, then the most bittersweet thing happens dawn breaks. Musically inspired by Ashra's 'New Age Of Earth' album. Track Four 'Variation 01' was when Phaedra was caught playing on the synth and much to her surprise and dismay she was recorded and placed on the album. It is a well-known classical piece but to save further embarrassment. Prejudice, fear and discrimination have destroyed many fine works by minority people for centuries, others, they have been suppressed until it was too late for their originators. This album is in an age of self-publication through high tech is an example of a strike back against that negative force. The variables and varieties in this mix of works is a haunting but pleasant surprise, very European, as ancient it is futuristic and contrasting as dark chocolate is from milk chocolate, as pleasure from pain or light from night. This is an album for explorers seeking after real life, and adventure.
