Eric Holland's first CD Without Borders was highly acclaimed in the Southwest as filling a niche for the new 'Border Music' that was filling the airways. This mix of Tejano-folk-Rock and country proves this troubador is continuing to be prolific in his singing and especially songwriting. Holland explores the plight of the migrant workers, race relations and his self penned themes mine the rich legacy of the frontera.. His earnest vocals are framed by spare, acoustic arrangements that feature guitar, violins, cello, accordian, Dwayne eddy electric licks and some steel guitar and mando keeping the focus on his provocative poetry. Holland has taken his lyrics beyond lip service. He is donating his profits from the CD to Humaneborders.org in Tucson, Arizona.
