Man of God Big Brother Bush[CD]
***** MUSIC TO IMPEACH BY ******* Eskit writes and performs political satire, and has most notably shared the stage with Nina Simone and Garrison Keillor. His songs have been played on NPR's 'All Things Considered', Pacifica's 'Democracy Now', and for Amnesty International and Minnesota Public Radio. Accompanying himself on the piano, Eskit presents his material in a style best described as political cabaret, or current-events Broadway. On this particular mini-disc (12 1/2 minutes), he also throws in a bit of country rock ('Hey Rednecks!') and hip-hop ('Liar Liar') and European classical ('Ballerina'). Musically, this is perhaps his most interesting and varied CD. Even the off-beat song 'Flight Suit' has a compelling piano part (as well as helping the President to look His ridiculous best.) For those pining for less anger and more humor, please check out Eskit's other political CDs: *I Got A Republican Up My Ass* and *Naughty Naughty (Sex, Drugs, and Religion)*. They are here in the CD Baby category of Political Folk. And if you want a prettier sound, and a totally serious message, look for the CD *STOP THE WAR!*, also in this section. And please note that the first three songs on this disc have been included on the new IMPEACH ME CD. WARNING: 'Hey Rednecks!' - the final song on Eskit's *Man Of God* CD - contains a Language Advisory. (The song may be offensive, but not as offensive as dropping cluster bombs on civilians, illegally invading other countries, or lying to the American people.) NOTE: This disc is not shrink-wrapped. Eskit packages it by hand and puts it in a recycled jewel case.
