The long awaited return of the central North Carolina based band Field Theory is finally approaching. The band hasn't played together on stage since summer of 2006, and is currently in the planning of a much anticipated reunion tour for mid-late 2009. Brought together by a desire to share Jesus Christ with the world, Field Theory officially came together in August of 2003. Once complete, they quickly began to write, record, and play non-stop. Their first release, 'Field Theory,' was released in May 2004 and brought the hit tracks 'Not Alone' and 'Selfless' to the forefront. Over the next year, the band would play countless shows and record another release entitled 'Blur.' This record would show the rapid growth the band achieved and begin to open more doors for the band than the trio ever anticipated. Some of Field Theory's many achievements include non-stop touring of the South-East and into the Mid-West, a prime slot on the Cafe Jam stage of Cornerstone, NC '04, the opportunity to play for EMI A&R, and sharing the stage with such acts as Thousand Foot Krutch, Decyfer Down, Dizmas, Chasing Victory, With Blood Comes Cleansing, Forever Changed, etc... Field Theory is excited to be taking the stage once again.
