FLEXIBLE FLYER, one of the most versatile acoustical pickin' band, features a heady mix of original and traditional Bluegrass, the explorative forays of 'Newgrass', and an occasional touch of jazzy swing. Together for more than a decade, the group has performed at an impressive list of festivals, fairs, clubs, indoor and outdoor concert stages, and numerous private events. Their first recording, 'Safe Flex', contained 14 scintillating tunes in a wide variety of styles, influenced by sources as diverse as Bill Monroe and Mozart, the Stanley Brothers and Medelssohn, old fiddle tunes, the Grateful Dead, and a whole lot more. But lately, fans of the group have been asking for another recording of the most recent material to go home with, and they will welcome the new CD 'Bluegrass Millionaires' which features Flex originals such as 'Wissahickon Trails', 'Patchy', 'Bluegrass Millionaire', 'Old Trains'. The album is getting airplay on dozens of radio stations, and positive print reviews!
