Product Notes

Fluid is the alias of Eddie Alfaro. Producer/Engineer and owner of indie label Nervous Fish Records. He is also one-half of experimental hip hop group Mutt Cultt. Breakdown is the title of his debut album. Fluid makes his own brand of music. He is not a 'rapper' - he prefers the term lyricist or emcee. He has been writing and recording material since he was 15 years old. Although Breakdown is a hip hop album, it does not follow the traditional themes usually involved in the genre (i.e. money, women and 'bling-bling'). Instead Fluid takes you on a journey through his personal life and experiences. The end result is an album that is personal yet universal, dark yet optimistic. Fluid flows in and out of each track with the experience of a lyricist with many years under his belt. He's worked hard on his craft, he's paid his dues, and it shows. All songs were written, produced and recorded by Fluid, with a few contributions from Mutt Cultt, as well. Years in the making, this album is sure to please not only hip-hop fans, but music lovers in general.
