Born in Los Angles and raised in Riverside, California, George began playing on the piano at age twelve. His mother recognized his talent, but could only afford for him to have two piano lessons. George would hear the tune and pick up the notes on the piano, continuing to teach himself George was brought up in the church Pentecostal faith. His Grandfather was the Pastor. His Grandmother a Missionary and his mother played the piano for the church. As a young teenager, George sang in the church choir. Although shy, he was encouraged to sing a solo by the choir director, sister Laura Nash. Shortly afterwards he, and two of his sisters sang as a trio. They traveled with their Grandparents and sang in churches. In Junior high School, George took up the trumpet and played in the school band and sang in the school choir, George continued playing the trumpet. He participated in the school assemblies playing the piano and singing. His adult years George performed in concerts, Benefits, Community events, weddings, school functions, Blues Festivals. George has played in back-up bands for Al Wilson, Lowel Folsom, Guitar Shortly, Donny Brooks, Preston Epps, Clay Hammond and many others. George has performed in Canada, Washington, Sacramento, and San Francisco, to name a few. Throughout his career and experiences, George has wanted to convey his feelings and emotions thru song. His first CD "UNDERSTANDING LOVE" is the first step to fulfilling this dream.
