The Golden Eagle String Band is an acoustic, folk group that has been performing in the northeastern United states for over 25 years. They specialize in music from America's inland waterways and have recorded and performed for the Smithsonian Institute, toured under a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, performed at Mystic Seaport, CT and the World Canal Conference. Songs on this album are from the Erie, Ohio-Erie, Delaware and Hudson, and the Chenango canals.
