In 2000 i decided that it was time to put a CD together with the songs that i had heard bouncing around my head for some time. I would listen to the jazz station near home and think how great it would be to write songs like that and hear them on the radio. When i made up my mind to go with what my heart was telling me to do, the songs just came like gangbusters. I would hear complete arrangements in my head, from start to finish and everything in between. Some came very quickly, others over time. So i began to lay down tracks in my very limited studio to see what i could come up with and the end result is what you hear on the CD.i composed all the songs in my spare time after work-i'm in the construction business-and would hear some of the songs on the CD while driving to work. So i'd turn my truck around and go home and lay down the melody. I finally bought a vor recorder so i could do it on the fly. I started spending countless hours writing and editing, until finally, a finished project! Music was a great part of my up-bringing. My mother was a music teacher for 50 years who taught me the chords when very young. All though i've tried to develop my own 'sound', yanni and smooth jazz artists have been my greatest influences. So turn it up and enjoy the music!
