Product Notes

Ines Moraleda studied flauta and voice at the Concervatori Superior Municipal de Musica de Barcelona. She went to London to the Guildhall Scholl of Music & Drama where dhe did a Postgraduate course in Vocal Studies. Ines awared an scholarshio to take a masters in Opera at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music & Drama in Glasgow. However, her main singing teacher has been always Jorge Sirena in Barcelona. Having won the International Singing Competition Schloss Rheinsber, Germany, she made her debut in 2001 Summer Festival with Charlotte in Massenet's 'Werther' in Baden-Baden with the Baden -Badener Philarmonic conducted by Werner Stiefel. The Fundation Maite Iglesias support Ines during her first professional engagement in Austria during 2002-2003, as a member of the Opera Company at the Tiroles Landestheather in Innsbruck. In 2003 Ines made her debut as Carmen at the Schloss Weikersheim Sommer Festival. Ines won the Second Prize and the Special Song Award in the National Mozart Competition, Liverpool 2002, and was finalist at the Richard Tauber Prize in the Wigmore Hall, London 2003. BARBARA HOLZL was born in St. Lambrecht, Austria. She received her first piano Lessons from Florian Huss at the Musikschule Murau and later went on to study piano pedagogy with professor Walter Groppenberger and Vocal Accompaniment with professor Gerhard Zeller at the Universitat fur Musik, Graz.
