Infinite System draws on more than four decades of musical influences, from the groundbreaking sounds of Black Sabbath through the newest 21st century bands that are defining their own sub-genre of hard rock. The core sound of Infinite System sits easily within the wider genre of heavy metal while still preserving a more accessible voice to audiences that prefer a lighter fare. Infinite System began like any other New York band, jamming away in a suburban basement. Location has had a big influence on the band, as it's members reside in lower Westchester County, which spawned the likes of Aerosmith and Anthrax, as well as a host of heavier bands such as Malignancy, Mortician, and Immolation. More often than not, fan reactions center on how different the band sounds from the rest of the talent out there. 'That says a lot,' says Luke Sheridan (AP). 'There are so many good, talented musicians on the scene today. Finding a niche with audiences that range from 16-year olds to 50-year olds is what makes it interesting,' he said. Over the past 5 years, Infinite System has had the pleasure of opening up for national touring acts such as: The Misfits, Brand New Sin, The Sex Slaves, and the Turbo AC's. The album has been well-received by it's audience and plans are already in the works for a new album to come out sometime in 2009 or 2010. The future of Infinite System lies in the new material that is being composed, aimed at taking the sound even further and adding more dynamic elements.
