Real rock is making a comeback, and The Infinite Why are helping. The world ear is growing tired of 'emo', 'power pop', 'pop punk', and average junk. The music world wants it's real rock and roll back. Music that can be hard and aggressive (without being metal) or mellow and trippy (without bordering on adult contemporary), and never losing it's rock and roll heart. Music that is powerful in it's feel, regardless of what it is feeling. Music that is introspective without being preachy, and smart without being pretentious. And most importantly, music that is interesting in all of it's moods, played by a band that feels it for people of all ages that can't ignore it. The Infinite Why is that awesome blend of power, brains, and seduction that is rock music at it's best. The sound of The Infinite Why... The sound is textured rock with influences, in many genres, going back to the late 60s and every decade since. It is multi-dimensional. In these tunes you'll sometimes get a hard hitting grunge influenced punch in the face, and sometimes a laid back seductive groove. It has it's heavy wall of sound guitars, but it also has plenty of acoustic backbone. And while the tunes are 'guitar driven', you'll also hear some interesting piano/organ/keyboard supporting parts. It's all about creating interesting sounds. When it comes to tempo and feel...in some of the tunes you'll hear a straight up rock rhythm assault, other times a sexy swagger, or a cool groove...sometimes in the same tune. Throughout you will hear a voice that can really sing...and explode...and seduce. Underneath it all there is bass set free, reminding that there is more to rock than the quarter note. So...in The Infinite Why you will experience melody AND screaming, thoughtful lyrics AND nonsense, mind blowing rhythms AND hypnotic grooves, classic sounds AND interesting experimentation, power AND subtleness. This is The Infinite Why.
