Q entered high school where he joined the high school jazz band touring around the United States. Q along with his brother Rob formed several groups where they performed locally in the Buffalo area. Q graduated from high school and went on to further his education earning a scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music in Boston Mass. In 2003 Q decided to move back to New York City to pursue his musical dreams where he performed non stop. Q is working continually on hits for the present and future generation. Experience Q's smooth, soothing saxophone sound with jazzy riffs and gospel roots, Q takes jazz to another relm! Currently toured Europe with rave reviews. With instrumental and vocal arrangements this project is sure to please jazz and R&B listeners alike. So the journey begins: SOME PEOPLE WOULD TAKE ONE LOOK AT YOU AND SAY YOUR BEAT UP AND BRUISED, BUT I KNEW IF I COULD BREATHE LIFE INTO YOU, YOU WOULD PROJECT A SOUND FRESH AND NEW. THERE ISN'T A DAY THAT PASSES BY THAT I WOULD LOOK YOUR WAY TO SAY HELLO AND YOU'LL RESPOND IN A TONE SO SWEET AND MELLOW. FROM THE 1930'S TILL NOW HAS BEEN A LOT OF UPS AND DOWN'S BUT YOU HELD UP STRONG, EVEN WHEN THE POLICE THREW YOU INTO YOUR LITTLE CELL YOU DIDN'T BEND AT ALL. FOR A LONG TIME YOU WERE THE ONLY FRIEND I HAD. WHEN EVERYONE GAVE UP ON ME, YOU HELPED ME CHANNEL MY ANGER THROUGH YOU NO MATTER HOW BAD. YOU AND I WERE A TEAM FROM THE START, AS LONG AS THE MUSIC OF Q LIVES ON NOT EVEN DEATH CAN SPLIT US APART. MY SAXOPHONE BY MARQUIS SAYLES "Q"
