Product Notes

If you are looking for a combination of Country Pop upbeat and intimate easy listening Country Pop, this CD has equal parts of both including two road song rockers. \'Ride With Me\' and \'That\'s What Highways Are For\' will move you down the road. We have included with the CD a special release single of \'Ride With Me\' a song written in the first person about a motorcycle that is in love with another motorcycle. Harley Davidson motorcycles were recorded and included in the tracks of this song. The special single CD was released to commemorate the 100 Year Anniversary of Harley Davidson. It is included Free with this CD. Check the sample and feel the Thunder! For something more intimate, check out \'Dreamer Too Long\', and \'Tell Me I\'m Mistaken\'. How about a novelty tune, try \'Penny\'s Lookin Pretty\'. All songs registered BMI. J T Hall is the stage name of James Hall originally from Toledo Ohio. The stage name was taken because of sharing the same name with the jazz great Jim Hall also residing in Nashville, TN. That\'s show biz! A self taught musician, J T did not start in music until leaving the US Marines. He taught himself to play the guitar during personal time on board the aircraft carrier USS Coral Sea. Upon returning from the military, he entered college, and began playing in a band to earn money, and have some fun. The band ultimately worked the Holiday Inn circuit playing cover tunes around the country. J T wound up in Phoenix, AZ where he attended and received a degree in marketing from Arizona State University. During his time in Phoenix, J T wrote songs of his own and met Debbie Campbell, daughter of Glen. He played guitar in her band and sang backup. Debbie\'s band played Las Vegas, giving him experience at a demanding level. While working on some of his own songs in Phoenix, he met Billy Williams, Producer for Lyle Lovette. Billy told him that he had to go to Nashville if he was serious about writing music. He eventually moved to Nashville after taking periodic trips for NSAI song writing events. An interesting result of these trips was meeting Garth Brooks (pre-success) who was traveling from Oklahoma to attend these events as well. Later, J T was surprised to meet Garth at a Nashville club (post success) and have him remember who he was! The CD was recorded in Nashville with players that have traveled and recorded with Garth Brooks, Lyle Lovette, Wynona Judd, Glen Campbell, Don Williams, and McBride and The Ride. The CD includes a number of songs that were co-written with noteworthy writers: Bret Jones, known for his hit songs: Better Man Better Off/ Tracy Lawrence Little past Little Rock/ LeAnn Womack Cover You In Kisses/ John Michael Montgomery You Won\'t Ever Be Lonely/ Andy Griggs Bret\'s co-writing songs on this CD: That\'s What Highways Are For Hey, Little Mona Lisa Somethin Real Dreamer Too Long Love Is The Only Answer Fred Koller, Grammy Winner!known for his hit songs: Goin Gone and Life As We Knew It/ Kathy Matea Fred was also a co-writer on the Hit Angel Eyes for the Jeff Healy Band Fred\'s co-writing songs on this CD: Tell Me I\'m Mistaken This Time I\'m Gonna Be Loved I Don\'t Have The Right Bill Douglas, known for his hit: Cowboy Love/ John Michael Montgomery Bill\'s co-writing song on this CD: Better Left Unsaid *Harley Davidson is a registered trademark and is not involved in this project in any way.
