Jack Schwartz grew up in New Hampshire and was singing and playing guitar and piano since he was very young. He moved West as a young adult and settled in the San Francisco Bay Area. One day he realized that he'd lived longer out West than East, but that New England folkie spirit still stayed with him. With a dose of bluegrass influence from the likes of Bela Fleck and Jerry Douglas, he added some banjo and mandolin to his music. This album reflects three years of songwriting through a relationship, with both the fulfilling joys and enduring pain that we all share as we make our way through life's changes. It's a very personal sharing of intimate moments together and alone.
