Product Notes

Feeling good and having fun is what music is about for Jason Poulsen. Influenced by many different genres and artists, Jason blends Folk, Funk and Jazz into a fun Pop sound that is unique yet accessible. Raised in Lethbridge Alberta Canada, Jason began writing music with his trusty acoustic guitar while living in Toronto. Working during the day as an animator and frequenting open mics and playing shows evenings and weekends, Jason continued to grow as an artist and develop his style. A love for the Film and Television and a desire to act brought Jason to the west coast of Canada to beautiful Vancouver where he has continued writing and performing while simultaneously pursuing an acting career. Jason made his foray into the studio at the beginning of 2008, recording a four song demo produced by Jim McLaren. Jason has also worked with producers Evan Morgan and Erik Olson in the studio and is currently composing new material for a full length album. You can find updates, show info and new songs at myspace.com/jasonpoulsen. Thanks for stopping by!
