Hello, here's a few words about my album: From Paris, France, 'The Belle Epoque Ensemble' presents Havona Shores a CD of 12 original acoustic tunes with a european flavor. The band is all acoustic with banjo, violin, guitar, mandolin accordina and bass with a few guests on piano, cello and ukulele Here's a few words about the author: I'm Jean-marc Andres, a French born banjo player. After playing with French singer Hugues Aufray and then touring the US for several seasons with the French band 'Transatlantic Bluegrass', I moved to Woodstock (NY) to play the banjo for John Herald and the guitar, mandolin and banjo for a local trio named 'Acoustic News'. After a few years I moved south to Florida to work the local scene in a duo, again playing acoustic adaptations of popular songs on guitar, banjo and mandolin. Moving further south, to the Carrabeans, I played local music with a local band for about 3 years before moving back to France. Then, I released my first solo album 'ZARANA' a ragtime duo with piano and banjo. The CD LUCETTINA, with The Belle Epoque Ensemble, was realeased in august 2005.
