The Jellyheads got together in 1993, when we met as students at the University of Surrey. Our music-making began as a series of experiments in the recording studio, but driven by it's own absurd momentum it has continued percolating into the 21st century. We sound a bit like The Orb, Orbital, Roy Orbison, Ozric Tentacles, Mogwai, Pink Floyd, The Cheeky Girls, The Flaming Lips, Led Zeppelin, Gong, Super Furry Animals and Steve Reich. Some of these are not true. The core line-up is: Ben Holland (guitar); Rob Kelly (bass); Sam Wansborough (keyboards); Chris Hardman (drums); Dominic Cherry (percussion, keyboards, guitar, etc.); Richard Lewis (sonic manipulations). The songs on this album have been carefully collated from our 15-year history, and feature a number of guest musicians and vocalists. They have been digitally remastered at a top London studio, and the CD is packaged in a deluxe full-colour limited edition Digipak.
