Justine Bradley CV Master Practitioner NLP, Timeline Therapy, Eriksonian Hypnotherapy Voice Trainer for NLP Practitioner Courses (NeuRoads P/L), Composer/Vocalist/Performer and Voice Teacher Born into a musical family (father was the principal violinist, mother the concert pianist with the Victorian Symphony Orchestra, now MSO). Justine began to study piano at 4, music theory & singing at 13, flute & guitar at 17 and continued with Jazz studies @ NSW Conservatorium. She has composed in diverse musical styles from 16, for piano & violin, voice & piano, small ensembles, chamber music ensembles, dance & pop music, ambient music, 'ambient groove', and 'world-groove', children's songs, arrangements for choral groups, a capella choirs & vocal arrangements for film, TV commercials & documentaries. Artists who have performed her compositions: Patti lu Pone (leading lady Broadway 'Evita', & twice Tony Award winner), Flora Purim (noted award winning Jazz vocalist), Richie Beirach (leading Jazz pianist), Geraldine Turner (Australian theatrical celebrity), Girlfriend (Australian pop group) and many more. Compositions: Justine wrote and performed the title music for the Nobel Peace Prize winning film 'Rosalind & Blacinta' & the hauntingly beautiful title song for the film 'Beware Falling Angels'. She has composed music for the stage play 'The Alice Machine' and toured USA, England and India with 'Across Time', performing original compositions by herself and twin sister Juliette. The Group released their debut CD in 1992. She has also recorded with many of Australia's finest musicians including Alister Spence, James Muller, Wendy Matthews etc. Her music has been presented on numerous occasions, over many years, by the ABC, East Side Radio etc and is played on Malaysian & Qantas airlines Australian live performances: Including TV & Radio broadcasts ABC, Manly Jazz Festival, Sydney Olympics Torch Relay (Manly), Sydney Entertainment Centre, Sydney Opera House, at premier Jazz venues including Sydney's the Basement, Side-On Cafe, Seymour Centre, Harbourside Brasserie, Melbourne's Bennetts Lane, the Jazz Lab, Melbourne Jazz Festival, Canberra's 'Hippo Bar', the Bellingen Global Carnival, the Bangalow Jazz Festival, the Inauguration of 'Sunrise Health Services' for Fred Hollows Foundation NT..... United Nations (New York), various other venues in New York, San Diego, San Francisco, Los Angelos, Grahamstown National Arts Festival (South Africa), Cape Town's premier Jazz establishments 'Jazz At The Nassau' & 'the Marimba Room'. Featured Vocalist: Her voice is featured on the title track & underscoring for the ABC's drama series 'MDA', which won the ASGC Award in 2004. Justine recorded a CD for TV documentaries, featuring her vocal arrangements and scores, which was the final recording to emerge from the Sydney Opera House recording studio. She can be heard on numerous TV commercials and is a well respected session singer in Sydney for TV/Radio commercials, soundtracks and other recordings. Compositions: Justine co-composed the No 1 hit single 'Take It From Me' & 2 other hit singles 'Without You' & 'Love's On My Mind' for Australian Pop group 'Girlfriend'. She has also co-composed with Jazz greats Gordon Brisker, Gerard Masters, Lily Dior,Mark Isaacs, Steve Hunter and in the Popular Music arena, with Tina Arena, Rick Price, Paul Begaud (Human Nature producer and composer for Sydney Olympics Opening Night Ceremony ), Barbara Griffin & Chong Lim (John Farnham, composer for Sydney Olympics Opening Night Ceremony). Her recent involvement with the Fred Hollows Foundation has led her to collaborate with Irene Fischer (CEO 'Sunrise Health Services,', a community based Aboriginal service in NT) Ian Thorpe (Fountain for Youth) and Olga Havenon Awards: South Pacific International Song Contest 'Award of Merit' for her song 'Every Day Every Night' Music Oz Competition 'Jazz Category' winner for her instrumental 'The Year of the Dragon' 2002 Commissions: Roger Woodward commissioned Justine to compose for the Sydney Spring Festival, 17 piece orchestra featuring soprano, strings, choir & tuned percussion) Soprano Ms Karen Cummings subsequently commissioned another 4 compositions, to be premiered at the NSW Conservatorium.
