Justyn Tyme's musical world is without frontieres, it is, of course, under the impulse of Europe and the USA, but also Brazilian, african and caribbean influences are not to miss. Musical exchange is not only a source of inspiration, but a main principle of work. Since 1994 there have been various projects together with musicians from other ethnic and cultural regions: performances with west-african djembe-drummers as well as sessions with a pannist (steel-drum-player) from Tobago/Trinidad. But also the rather classical-european sound of the violoncello, the accordeon and the classical guitar finds favour in their music. Fanciful and playful handling of different musical styles is the program - elements out of jazz, latin, afro, funk and soul are combining to a new unity, resulting Justyn Tyme's thrilling, many-sided and, at the same time, individual image of sound.
