I Found Him Whom My Soul Loveth[CD]
Although I took piano lessons as a child, I completely gave up the piano at the age of 16 in the belief that I would never succeed at performing well. And so, for 24 years that early training sat unused, neglected and withering. But the grace of God prevailed when all those years later, the Lord showed me how I could utilize this gift for His honor and glory. I wasn't sure that I could even play after so many years, but was convinced that I should utilize what little talent I had for a purpose outside of myself. And so, for those who may not know Jesus Christ yet, I submit this little work to assist them in finding Him. But, for those who know Him already as their personal savior, I want to take this opportunity to encourage them to pull out that harmonica, violin, flute, or drum, or whatever instrument they play and use that talent to praise the Lord. May they sing that song, dance that dance, or perform that interpretive act that is within them. (Psalm 148, 149, 150) No matter what it is, may they use that gift that He has given them for His service. And, may He richly bless that effort to draw people unto Himself. Should the Lord lead you to use this little effort of mine, may He receive all the honor and glory that is rightfully due Him. - In His Love, Karen Bane.
