Cosby, Ken : Whats Wrong with That Boy?[CD]
Ken Cosby was born in Hollywood, California but grew up in Atlanta. Georgia after his parents moved East due to the Sylmar Earthquake. The youngest son of Bill Cosby's brother Russell, Ken approaches the stage with his familiar Cosby smile and takes the audience on a comedic voyage through his unique mixture of story telling and jokes. With a comedic style that is best described as part Dave Chappelle, part Eddie Izzard, Ken uses his wit and high energy to let the audience see the world through his eyes. Whether it is his political commentary, his views on relationships, his childhood, his feelings on being an NWD (Negro With Degrees), and black Unity, Ken keeps the audience laughing. And just when you think you're locked into his rhythm, Ken will toss out a clever observation like 'In this day and age of political correctness I wonder... How do Klansmen order their coffee?' keeping the audience on it's toes thinking and laughing. Ken has performed standup since he was in graduate school at NYU and has performed at The Boston Comedy Club, The Comedy Store, The Laugh Factory, Ha Ha Cafe, The Comedy Union and at The Improv. Ken can be seen in the documentary How To Make It In Hollywood Before You Make It, produced and distributed by Odom Entertainment. Ken was a finalist in Miceli's Comedy Battle in The Basement held in October of 2005.
