Product Notes

Kevin Reavey is a singer/songwriter originally from Somerset, New Jersey. He has shared a stage with Jason Mraz, Tristan Prettyman and many other nationally touring acts. His music has been described as having the emotional style of James Taylor, the quick wit of the Barenaked Ladies, and the intelligent humor of an Edward Albee play. The live show has been described as having similarities to Jason Mraz's hat, Howie Day's shoes, and John Mayer's pants. He is a blend of the newer thread of songwriters. Kevin Reavey started his singer/songwriter career in 2003 while attending college in Newburgh, NY. It was there that he started writing songs for his 2005 self produced album, Starting Here. That fall, Kevin started using loop samplers to add to his live show. His fancy footwork on his ever growing pedal board has grabbed the attention of every audience he plays for. 'My band is never late for rehearsal.' Kevin is currently awaiting the release of a live CD recorded in 2007 and writing material for his next studio album which will commence later this year.
