Actually this CD represents two CDs of a cappella praise and worship music of Male Monastery Kiev Pechersk (Caves) Lavra: A cappella hymns of the All-Night Vigil and Divine Liturgy. Lavra's praise and worship music is unique and precious heritage of the Orthodox sacred choral music culture with it's origin in XI century (1091) in the monastery, founded by inok Anthony arrived from Aphona. By the report of eyewitnesses, Lavra's praise and worship music is notable for solemn harmony, spiritual touching, prayer inspiration and peculiarity.
