The Finnish prog-fusion group Kumina.org has released it's new debut album, 'Entropia'. The band was founded in Helsinki, Finland in 2006 by it's current three members. The album features ten pieces of eclectic music crossing between instrumental prog and fusion ranging from thoroughly composed material to fierce collective improvisation. The record contains energetic hard hitting tunes as well as easy going grooves. Kindered spirits in the music scene are bands such as Niacin, Medeski, Martin and Wood and Return to Forever. The Consequence The line-up: Mr. Ahmed Ahonen, keyboards. Ahmed has in the past played in the reknown Finnish prog bands Kuha. And Discordia, among others. Mr. Matti Kanerva, drums. Matti has a strong jazz background. He has performed and recorded with front row Finnish jazz and prog acts such as Jani Malmi and Flu-Band. Mr. Jukka Packalén, bass and guitar. Jukka played together with Matti for the first time 20 years ago in the late 80's in Kaarle Mannila's band. He has also played in several rock bands, the most renown of which is Baysix. Jukka is also a Freak Guitar Camp veteran and the head of the Finnish ICS speed composition lodge.
