2003 "Honesty, attitude and loyalty to rock'n'roll: that's what La Noche del Leeds is". These words were written by Jordi Sunyer a few years ago on a local newspaper, and it's the best definition of the band. Influenced by several Spanish bands as Loquillo y los Trogloditas, Ramoncín or Los Rebeldes, as well as rock'n'roll stars as Bruce Springsteen or Neil Young, the members of the band has grown with rock'n'roll in their veins. In it's songs you can smell what's life for them: songs for the losers, songs for the ones that have lost faith, but songs to tell everybody that we can't never loose hope. This CD was recorded live at Doctor'n'ric Studios in Torelló, near the city where they live, on April 27th and 28th, 2003. They were two very intense days that had as only mission to be shown to the audience just as they were, without traps, without wanted to pretend what were not. La Noche del Leeds is a band that has as only aspiration to continue playing live and to be listened. If you are looking for a band with a revolutionary sound or a new way to compose, you are not doing a good election. But if you're looking for sincerity, poetry and rock' n' roll as a way of life, La Noche del Leeds can be your band.
