All My Friends Are Bartenders[CD]
Brad has successfully made entertainment his life's work. Part passion. Part need. Born in Toronto, Canada, Brad migrated to Southern Calif. At an early age. Through song, Brad has made California his own. Winning awards for band of the year and vocalist of the year in the 90's with the California Country Music Association, and his band Chyenne. Also he has toured and/or performed with the Will Ray & The Gila Monsters, Carla Olsen and the Textones, The Bangles, and a band called Slayer, has shared the stage with such lumanaries as Etta James, Koko Taylor, John Mayall, Freddie Fender, Joe Houston, Juice Newton, and The Texas Tornados, other bands include Brother Weasel, and the Sherpas, which feature Bill Barrett, and Vince Meghrouni respectivly. His own blues band the Soulcasters still perform. Now Lazy B steps out on his own with a mostly acoustic set of 12 original tunes, and one cover of the famous 'Morning Dew'. In the tradition of all good nick names, Lazy Brad Lewis doesn't make real sense. Lazy Brad ain't Lazy. He's an active performer, able to play a variety of musical genres. He's the bandleader for a country music band, side man in both blues and funk bands, family man and a teacher. The song and the singer. The writer and the tune. It all folds together seamlessly when it's done right. And you're no longer listening to music. You''re being told secrets in hushed tones. That's the way it is when you first hear, 'All My Friends Are Bartenders,' the latest release from Lazy Brad Lewis. The songs just feel lived-in.
