As a singer Lorrin Charles, Aka 'Good Love,' has sung on stages with Michael Jackson, Whoopi Goldberg, Robin Williams, Billy Crystal, B.B. King, Donny Hathaway and others. Lorrin drew a very approving smile from mega actor and Rock-R&B recording artist Bruce Willis when he sang at his and Demi Moore's (entertainment industry) wedding which was officiated by the legendary Little Richard. Little Richard who later became a musical friend of Lorrin's once told him that anyone who could sing and write songs like he could ought to be out there for the world to hear. It was Little Richard and long time musical associate Phillip Bailey (lead singer of Earth, Wind and Fire) who were responsible for Lorrin meeting hit movie director, Ivan Riteman, Arnold Schwarzennegger and Danny DeVito and consequently writing the title song for the hit movie 'TWINS.' Twins, won a Golden Globe Nomination for Lorrin and close friend Skip Scarborough. As a songwriter and record producer Lorrin has also worked with Nancy Wilson, Earth, Wind and Fire, Quincy Jones, Chaka Khan, Natalie Cole, Anita Baker, The Temptations, Berry Gordy, Clive Davis, David Foster, George Duke, Brenda Russell, James Carmichael, Norman Whitfield, Magic Johnson, Little Richard, The Jacksons and many others. Along with his Golden Globe Nomination, Lorrin has achieved multiple Platinum records for his work on various artists. Lorrin was the founding professional membership chairman of the National Academy of Songwriters, an organization that boasted membership of nearly every major songwriter in the industry, from Paul McCartney to Janet Jackson and everyone in between. People have told Lorrin, including some of the industry giants mentioned above, that he vocally sounds like Jackie Wilson, George Benson, Donny Hathaway, Howard Hewitt, Jeffery Osborne, Smokey Robinson and Little Richard. 'However, just the privilege of singing at all is joy to me,' says Lorrin. On this CD, I'm trying to use my voice and all of my talents to deliver a message that's more important than the messenger. What is really important are the people who may benefit from what I'm trying to say in the songs and on this CD.
