Where Punk Rock meets the British Invasion and we throw in some Acid for seasoning! We play and write foot-stomping, get up and dance, feelgood Rock & Roll. This quote says it best: Malcolm and the Dropouts, after much introspection and rehearsal time, have finally resurrected the heart and soul of Rock and Roll music. Over the past few years, contemporary music has been plagued with the inability of artists to retain the basic qualities that made it the recognizable force driving the younger generations. Today's music has been synthesized, computerized, and generally weakened by overproduction and a lack of guts. But it's alive again, because these four young men have fused the basic ingredients of the Rock and Roll pioneers with their own style and feeling - raucous, free, full of the sounds and elements that make up the world of today. Their driving rhythms, spontaneity with the crowd, repeatable melodies and unforgettable renditions have remained with all who have heard them. This combination of talent offers a fresh, new, original sound that remains as timeless as the classics. -Frank Burkett, musician, archivist.
